This is my website. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My real name is Lachlan Picking; on the internet I am known by my pseudonym, Nacimota. Nacimota is pronounced with a soft c, as in, nassih-mow-tuh. I live in Queensland, Australia and have done so my entire life. I have had an intense interest in computers since I was introduced to them as a child. I have programming experience both on the web and in Windows; my language of choice for developing Windows applications is C#. I currently run Windows 7 64bit on my desktop, dual booted with linux. My linux experience is very limited compared to my Windows experience. My favourite distro is Ubuntu.

My desktop computer currently uses the following components:

Asus P5K-E/Wifi-AP
6GB Corsair DDR2 RAM (two sticks are Dominator 1066Mhz, but are turned down to 800Mhz to match some regular XMS2 sticks I have)
1.75TB of storage capacity, spread across 3 Seagate Barracudas (1 x 250GB, 1 x 500GB, 1 x 1TB)
HIS Radeon HD5770 1024MB
